I've got the worm klez trojan...the fucker blocks installation of major anti-virus programs, messes with the boot and shut down files, and also multiplies into the system. I've finally managed to find a program to get rid of it, but it will take over and hour to scan and clean my whole system

This is exactly why I have my virus scanner updating every four hours..

If you use norton, you have to get a special download for it. If you don't use norton, the good news is it is free. Go to their website, and get it.

That virus sucks, and it is dangerous.

I'm using a program called Pc Door Guard that I got free with a magazine. Norton wouldn't even install properly
This thing has gone waaay through my system. I already formatted once because of it and it didn't work, so I'm gonna have to scan and clean out all 20gigs of data that I have stored

Check out PC-Cillin fromTrend Microsystems. It's bolcked the Klez worm form affecting my system about a dozen times with it's WebTrap feature, and successfully found and removed infections the two time it sneaked through somehow.
