i hate that the nursing and doctor staffers are having to go through all of this horror again...made even worse this time around by the numbers of sick children having to be hospitalised.

when those icu beds are filled, and there's a lack of staff to take care of new sick people (covid-related or otherwise), i wonder how loudly the anti-vaxxers will yell when they can't get the medical care they so desperately need? if they have a heart attack, but can't get into a hospital... if their elderly parent has a stroke but is sent home as there simply isn't the staff or bed to offer the necessary aid...if their child is in a car accident and requires immediate intensive care but there's no place for them... what then? and then it makes me mad that others, who opted to take care of other members of society, will find themselves in the same plight

and i still can't wrap my head around the profound chosen-blindness, the outright SELFISHNESS, of those who opt not to vax and not mask (except for medical reasons, naturally). they simply chose NOT to look at masks as a way the wearer can help prevent the spread of the virus to the unmasked but insist on thinking and speaking of them solely in terms of self-protection of the wearer.
