Gmail is Google's free beta email - it's similar to Yahoo, but with 2.5 gb of space (and rising) and fewer ads.

I have acc's on both emails, tho' personally I prefer Gmail - it's a bit sleeker and has several very intuitive features. Also it takes up to 50 mb per email.

Gmail is the email program by the google people. And yes, I think it's better than yahoo. In fact, I like gmail so much that I stopped using the email address through my ISP and use gmail for pretty much everything.
The biggest difference of gmail is the way mail is organized; they store everything in "conversations" so if we write fifteen emails replying to one another, they all get saved together. It's also alot "cleaner", I think.

It can take really big emails and really big pictures and videos without flinching. Generally, you can mail nearly any file on your computer.

It has oodles of space.

It uses Google's search engine, to help you search through your mails.

It sorts the mails into "conversations," so you can follow replies ... sort of like threads here.
