Due to an ongoing legal dispute, @gmail.com isn't available for us Brits. So I got stuck with @googlemail.com.

How sucky is that.

Does it work the same? I kinda like the name "google" mail, like being an official part of google or something. Now that's some stock I wish I had bought in the beginning.

You either got it before oct 19th, or you gave out a .com email address when you signed up. if you give out a .co.uk address, you get @googlemail.com.

i love gmail as well...however...
i was a bit 'weirded' out that there were adverts for products on the side of the page that used key words from my email...hrm. was discussing spinning wool and the adverts were for yarns.
i think that made me put the brakes on a bit.
