Most Palestinians have Arab or Egyptian last names despite claiming to be indigenous. They speak a language foreign to the Levant and practice a foreign religion. The only thing that defines their culture is Jew-hate.
Of course they have Arabic names. Everybody has for centuries, in that part of the world. Arabic is certainly as native and Semitic a language as Hebrew or Aramaic. What defines the Pals' culture is that they are not Jews or Egyptians or Syrians, therefore they are Palestinians by default. They have to be something, and "Arab" won't do -- they need a name that distinguishes them from their neighbors.

Hamas is so thorough embedded in Gaza that you can’t make that claim. Israeli hostages were held in private homes. Not one innocent Gazan helped an October 7th hostage in the 2 years they were held. There were no Oskar Schindlers
They're Arabic-speaking Muslims (and Christians) who have always lived in Palestine and wouid not feel at home in Egypt or Jordan. That's their distinct culture.

Ahmed is a Lebanese Christian, don’t misidentify his religion or assume because of his name. He has a well known store in Sydney which has his Maronite cross on display.

Lebanon was once majority Christian. The Muslims only drove them out recently.
