Since neither candidate reached the nessesary 270 electoral votes needed according to the us constitution. The house under Nancy Pelosi's leadership would vote for the next president. And the speaker can put in whatever candidates she wants

That's not the way it works. If neither candidate gets 270 electoral votes, it goes to the House, where every state delegation gets one vote each. (California has 53 House seats, the seven smallest states only have one each, but each state gets one vote!) That would probably hand it to Trump.

On the other hand, if we did stop counting the votes now and gave each state to the candidate who is currently ahead, that would put Biden at 270.

If the counting stops before all votes are counted, Trump can then gripe about an illegal election.

Republicans don’t give 2 shits about democracy, and they don’t give 1 shit about the will of the people. They only care about power, their power, and they do NOT like to share.

That is correct, then there is the little bit about the senate selecting the VP. Now that could be an interesting four years! I’ll stick with waiting till the rest of the votes are counted though
