Summer to me as a kid always meant Ocean City, Maryland. Haven't been for a long time, but here's the boardwalk there...

That picture brings back memories. I'll have to ask my dad what the name of the hotel where we used to stay all the time was called. I love Ocean City. Haven't been for about fifteen years but I should go back sometime. I'm a little hesitant because most of the things I loved are probably gone now but I would still like to visit again someday.

EDIT: In fact, that looks like it in the photo there. I think that might be the building. I'm going to have to look into this.

Hello Barefootgirl. I've never been to Rehoboth Beach. I used to go to Ocean City about once a year as a kid too. Not a big fan of the cross-country flights but it was totally worth it. What's Rehoboth Beach like? And did you ever spend time in OC or just your cousins?

I moved away right after my 13th birthday. I went to Rehoboth last summer during a family reunion. It wasn't too bad. My cousins still go to OC every year because it's closer I think.

Im sure you both remember the Kite Loft. Very distinctive landmark. They have a web cam looking over the beach that I check out year round.
