Yeah, Alien is my 3rd fave film of all time. Just amazing, considering how far back it was done. I saw it the yr it was released. I read the book first.

I also have Giger's Alien Art Book. Wow.

I loved Aliens, too, but for different reasons. The first had a classic Hitchcockian form, and the second was just so fucking epic!

He certainly is disturbing...I have a vast dark side. But I'm a positive person...the darkness was bred into me a long time ago.

I find his too macabre. NO biggie. I love his technique and even some of the pieces he has done. Certainly appropriate for "Alien" and "Species".

I actually made a Desktop/wallpaper from a piece he done...cocks and pussies in a surrealistic pattern.

The darkness is what attracted me to him also. I have some very deep darknesses of my own that I continuously havt to keep the reins pulled back on. I think my darkness lives vicariously through the darkness of others. Its just twisted that way.
