Kate ended up with twelve of the little stone eggs, each painted with a story the associated child loved from Scotland. Keeping with the theme of celebrating all of Scotland, the eggs' pictures were diverse like the tapestries. And Vincenzo had made a lovely wooden box to keep them all in.

"Thank you, Papa." Kate said as he helped her to place them all into the wooden box, the children scampering off to have a special treat with Chessie in the kitchens. "You make sure that Gran rests after everything that she's done today. I'm afraid she'll wear herself out."

"She already has," Vincenzo chuckled. "But she'll keep right on dancing and pay for it tomorrow happily. I'll stop her if I get worried, I promise," Vincenzo nodded to her and kissed her forehead. "Happy and tired are alright for her."

"You should take her to Inverlochly. Kell and I will probably stay here in Inverness for our honeymoon. She's always loved the loch there." Kate said with a smile was Vincenzo swore that he was keeping an eye on Kitty.

"I may do that. It'd be nice to have a little time away with her," Vincenzo nodded with a little smile to himself. He and Kitty always had plenty of time together thanks to the rest of the clan, but Vincenzo liked to steal her away occasionally.

"She deserves the world." Kate said softly as her Papa smiled slightly at the idea of stealing her grandmother away for a little get away.

"So do you, amore. So enjoy yourself and enjoy your husband," Vincenzo reminded her as Kell came to rejoin her with a kiss.

"I'm exhausted." Kate said with a smile as Kell leaned down and kissed her gently when he rejoined her side. "I had to take a rest before deciding to dance again."

"Same here," Kell nodded, settling beside her with a contented sigh. "Though I made sure to dance with your mother. And Ashelin a few times."

"Heather even danced a few times with Da. She seemed to have a good time." Kate commented as he mentioned Ashelin. "And Ash loves anything to do with balls and courts and manners. They're a pair of opposites like Sam and Rho."

"I'd venture to say they're even more different than the boys." Kell looked over to see Brogan and Julia holding the girls, both twins sufficiently worn out and starting to fall asleep.

"And more identitcal in looks." Kate said as she stood to go and wish her little sisters a good night before they were put to bed.

Kate kissed Ashelin's cheek and then Heather's, chuckling as Heather pushed her away and snuggled up against their Da. "Stubborn little mite."

"No' unlike you," Brogan chuckled. "Y'used t'do tha' around this age when anyone else tried t'put you t'bed but me."

"She's getting more independent, which is good, but you'll be in for hell in the mean time." Kate commented as her mother shook her head and kissed Kate's cheek.

"Go back to your party, love. Your Da and I will take care of them and then head to bed ourselves. It's been a long day." Julia said softly as she looked at Kate with a soft smile. "You made a lovely bride, kitten. You have made us proud."

Brogan kissed Kate's forehead as well before wrapping his free arm around Julia, walking down the side hall with their youngest girls.

The celebration lasted a while longer before everyone dispersed to go home or go to their rooms. Kitty soon sent Kell and Kate off as well. The staff would take care of cleaning up and they could finish up anything else in the morning.

Kate walked arm in arm with Kell up to his more secluded room in the tower. She paused outside of the door to kiss her husband, her arms wrapping around his neck and holding him tightly.

"Are you going to carry me across the threshold?" Kate asked when the kiss broke.

"If milady wishes," Kell smiled down at her, sweeping her off her feet after unlatching the door. He stepped in looking like he was just about the happiest man in the world, stealing another kiss.

"I can't believe that you're my husband." Kate murmured as he set her back onto her feet and kissed her again. "Were we actually foolish enough to get married today?"

Taking her left hand in his own to see their rings glimmering in the dim light of the fireplace a staff member had lit for them, Kell smiled to himself. "It certainly seems so... And it may be the best decision I've ever made."

"Hopeless romantic." Kate murmured with a grin, moving in to kiss her wolf once more. "It didn't take long to turn you into one, did it?"

"Not at all," Kell chuckled. "But it is our wedding day. Romance is a requirement." Returning her kiss, he went to carefully hang up his jacket and sash.

Kate smiled as he went to undress and she did the same, getting out of her grandmother's tiara and dress as carefully as she possibly could. When she was in her undergarments, she turned back towards him and stretched.

"Do you think we can sleep first? I'm exhausted." She murmured, her cheeks actually turning red as she suggested that. "Then we can wake up and enjoy one another."

"You say that like I'm the impatient one," Kell teased, coming back to her side to drape his arms around her. "I'm in no rush, love."

"Well, you were the one who decided that you would teach me all there was to know before we ever made it to today." Kate said as her draped his arms around her yet again. "Just a short nap and then we'll get a snack and then we can have some fun."

"Sleep as long as you want," Kell encouraged, welcoming her to bed beside him. He settled in easily, her bed having become familiar and comfortable as they'd spent their nights together.
