Getting to know you. . .

Number one, I think..

1. I'm allergic to cats.

2. I was born in Scotland.

3. I'm a vegetarian.

Well, you were correct. I only have relative pitch. I thought sure you would pick the eyebrows.

As for yours, a lot of people are allergic to cat fur, etc. And, the trend is to be veggie, these days. But, bringing Scotland out of the blue like that is a little strange. I'll go with 3.

you got it again.. I have to find more obscure facts..
Sorry, gotta go. I've got to get me something to eat, and then watch the news. They caught a guy who murdered a local girl about 8 years ago. It was a high profile case, and was even shown on America's Most Wanted.

But, they have the bastard in custody up in Conneticut! Woo Hoo!

I'll be back later to torment you mind.

Okay, try me again.

1. I was a photographer for my school newspaper.
2. I hate mushrooms.
3. I had my head shaved as a teenager.

You love mushrooms! You dream of mushrooms in your fevered sleep! You frantically wank to the Mushroom Dance in Fantasia!! Mushrooms!! MUSHROOOOOMMMS!!! GAAHH!!!

Of course, I could be mistaken. ;->

1. I've never done speed
2. I played Thomas Jefferson in my 6th Grade School Play
3. I've lived in more than 10 different towns in North Carolina

I'm back.

Wow, this is a tuffy. Well, let's see. I'd say #3 is incorrect. But, I could be mistaken.

I almost changed my answer, but you should always stick with your first choice. But, I could be mistaken. :)

I'm going to go with #3, Etoile. Hey, I like this... can I play too?

Any and all are welcome to the best of my knowledge. Give us your factoids!

DVS,

What was your next guess?

1. Asheville
2. Raleigh
3. Tarboro
4. Goldsboro
5. Tryon
6. Snow Hill
7. Godwin
8. Cruso
9. Manteo
10. Wilson
11. Leggett
12. Boone

There're at least two more but I was too young to remember the names of the towns --- if they had them. Sometimes you just live between towns and it doesn't really have a name. Or at least it was like that in the 70's. You get places like Pinetops pop. 23 which is about a 3 mile stretch of road between Tarboro and Wilson.

I vote for number 1.

More facts..

1: I'm addicted to West Wing.

2: I have 5 siblings.

3: I'm an unrepentant leftie.

Snowy,

I'll guess that you don't have five siblings.

And whose #1 are you talking about?

-B

You are also right. I once tried Crank snorted off the back of a toilet during what was supposed to be an all-night study session but which became an extremely bizarre love/sex triangle. That's the only time I actually specifically tried speed but I've had it a few times as a by-product of LSD.

Ah, my misspent youth.

I think it's the 'shrooms too ;)

1. I have perfect pitch.

2. I was born in Evanston, Illinois.

3. I put my daughter on a horse for the first time at four months old.

Wellllll.....3 is so far-fetched that it has to be true. I imagine you holding the swaddled Baby Fox who wouldn't at that point even have been able to sit up on her own, but on a horse is on a horse whether in the saddle or face-down over it so I'm going to play the odds and pick #2.

Three is true.. it was at a horse show.. I put her up on my 16 hand gelding between classes. She loved it, the crazy little thing, and at 2 years old helps me feed every day. ;)

Two is the false one. I was born in Lake Forest, Illinois... I was adopted from Evanston, Illinois.

Woo-hooo! I'm doing pretty well here on guessing although the verdict is still out on Etoile and the mushrooms.

Sorry, I didn't get back in time to answer this, as it has already been answered. But, I don't think I would have answered correctly. But then, I could be mistaken. :)

S'arright, I didn't believe it myself until I sat and listed them all the other day. It was pretty wild.

I'm getting a kick out of the fact that apparently everyone here easily imagined me in the role of Thomas Jefferson.

As for the Etoile question... you gotta know the 100 things. (This is for you, M. :rose: )

14. I can't stand mushrooms. Never have liked them.
42. When I was thirteen years old, I had my hair clipped down to about one-quarter-inch long all over. Sadly, this is how I look in my parents' wedding album.
73. In high school, I was the yearbook's primary photographer my sophomore year. In my junior year I was photo editor, and I was copy editor my senior year.

So I guess I was wrong, too. I remembered about the mushrooms and photography. Apparently it was yearbook, not school newspaper. But to be fair, the question said "shaved," not "clipped." I should at least get half a point.

Okay... now for me:

1. I once had sex with my mother's best friend.
2. When I was a child, I wanted to be a garbage man.
3. My father was a guided missile technician in the Air Force.

I remembered something like that from Etoile, too. I think she even spoke of the short hair in a post?

As for this list, any one could be true, and any one could be a lie. So, because it's a gamble, I'll gamble. I pick #1, just because it comes first.

Another set from me...

1. I almost married a woman until I found out the true reason she wanted to marry me was because I was blonde and blue eyed. She was too, and wanted kids with blonde hair and blue eyes. She eventually found someone gullible who was blonde and blue eyed. She actually called me years later to tell me she had two lovely daughters...both blonde and blue.

2. I was fucking a woman who ended up going back to her ex-husband. So, she introduced me to her sister. After dating for quite a while, I almost married this sister, but her mother had other ideas. Just getting remarried herself, her mother and new step father introduced her to her new step brother. With her mother and step father's encouragement, she married her step brother.

3. I was dating a woman for nearly a year and finally we went to meet her mother and father in the southern part of the state. She hadn't told them I had long hair and they refused to allow their daughter to date a hippie. She broke up with me the next week.
