Getting Comments - what should I do?

JBest to use a distinct email account for this (I use a gmail account set up ONLY for Lit related correspondence).

Also, be careful how that account connects to other accounts, Google leaks more info than you might expect. When setting up that Lit Gmail account, make sure the user name isn't obviously porny and doesn't reveal anything on a search (e.g. not the same as your Literotica account name) because Google may "helpfully" reveal the handle for that account to people who know your real-name email address.

Are you looking new ipmressions or feelings?
I read your comments. Y0u interested me. We will get acquainted? P.S. My photo/videos you will find in my bio ;-)

I know it's early days, but I really believe this time I've finally found my soulmate. :)

Sorry to break it to you, pal, but she's been hitting on me, too.

Thanks!

Yes, set up your whole Gmail/Google online profile really carefully, keep your Lit identity totally separate and also if you use gmail from your phone, be really careful with your phone settings as well. My phone almost got me.

Thanks for all the great advice!

I'm developing an author persona and I do use the same pen name over several platforms. I don't mind people connecting them, but now I will definitely check my real details aren't connected to the persona.

I haven't got any PMs yet, but I'm new, only a week old on Lit. I find that most people don't write a bio 0.0 I think being anonymous like that would invite a lot of people to PM you as they want to find out if you'd match. With nothing to go by, they have to PM you (or maybe read all your threads). I've used my bio in a big way, stating very specifically what I'm into. I think that is going to keep the PMs at bay... maybe. But, I'm new–I know nothing! ;)

Unless the comment is anonymous I try to acknowledge the comment by using the contact details of the individual. I don't always succeed, sometimes because I haven't noticed that I have a new comment.

Most comments deserve thanks. Some deserve a WTF? but I try to be polite.

When I started writing erotica, I would answer my comments whenever possible. But I stopped doing it when the commenters interpreted my responses as invitations to get to know them better and maybe "hook up" and such. This went on even when I expressed no interest in following up the contact. So now I don't do personal thanks. That way, I save myself some time and avoid some potential hard feelings.

But I suppose that your experience as a man might be different from a woman's.
