I don't think that's true--The stories become retreads from name to name (which also helps account for the big Survivor numbers). And Freddie isn't the only one posting under more than one account name.

Besides, the "Susan" numbers only can include "Susan" stories. If you want to talk Freddie numbers, they are much larger--but then you have to admit the umbrella existence of Freddie, and wouldn't that be inconvenient for someone wanting to believe "Susan's " barf?

Everyone doesn't have equal time to write, equal experience in writing, equal ability to formulate stories, or equal ability to write rapidly. In other words, one doesn't really have anything to do with the other.

Let me suggest that we were starting to make some progress towards normalizing relations - at least LC doesn't seem to be trying to take a stick to my ass at the moment, and contentious people are starting to talk about why and who. Let's not start slipping backwards.

Being a contributing forum member shouldn't require vast skill at sussing out whatever conspiracies, lies and cruelties once happened - since the goal is to adopt a forum where personal attacks are deleted by the mod before things get out of control, and conspiracies, presumably, won't flourish when people aren't all over each other.

Nathan's advocating we start with a clean slate. A couple of people seem to be saying that's unacceptable in the cases of Scouries and SJP because they are exceptionally heinous, but is there objection to the idea otherwise?

I suppose I'm asking if we can agree to a No Personal Attack policy and other bits from Angrim's list, and amnesty for previous sins of the folk here, if SJP and Scouries are excluded from the amnesty.

I'm not saying that a desirable goal. Rules with exceptions for certain individuals will just convince people that the rules have been abandoned in general. But if we can get some sort of agreement in place for everyone else, hammering out the special cases ought to be possible.

Let me put it this way. One charge is that SJP attempted to drive someone off Literotica and was pretty vile about it. (I'm repeating a rumor. I know nothing about this). Well, last week, it looked to me like LC was trying to drive me off literotica. (My interpretation, factual or not) But I think LC and I can agree to coexist in a forum where personal attacks are forbidden.

Now maybe SJP was a million times worse than LC could ever be (LC, that's NOT a challenge...) and hir crimes were way more vile than anything I can imagine. Maybe I've never seen the like of someone like hir torturing someone and there was some compelling reason Ignore couldn't save hir victim. Maybe all that's true. But these days, SJP seems to be confined to screaming in large fonts that s/he's female, and no one seems to be threatened by hir for the simple reason that hir stuff isn't read (or people just lash out, but I don't see how that helps). As a threat s/he's neutralised. Why not let hir be the mod's problem now? We got us a mod, let's use it.

Not all the time depends on the writer and the topic.

The only time the quantity thing bothers me is if I see a chapter series and every chapter is only 1 page, at that point it looks like nothing more than stat padding by stretching a 14k story into 6 parts.

But like everything else everyone has their ways, most of my stuff is long and many could be broken into two sometimes three parts, but I don't care how many stories I have or how long they are.

My first year here I worried a little about length and tired to keep everything two pages, then got tired of caring. For instance I was looking at my two part BDSM story from 2010 which is 13k and thinking if I wrote that today it would be one four page story.

There are levels of here. You and I are on opposite sides of the coin on here on the two most controversial kinks on lit. This isn't an absolute, but many do write too much, and repeat themselves too much. Especially some of those who are selling their output... But it's just a trend.

I did miss it, I have not read every word all have posted here and sometimes get put off by very long posts, so if you offered a retraction on that accusation, consider it retracted or as Fish would say from the Ally McBeal show(yeah, I just confessed to watching that) "Bygones"

I've never read your writing because you have a tint of non con-the fetish-to a lot of your tastes and posts so I figure why put my foot on a mine? That's the great thing about categories, easy to avoid what you don't like.

If you tell me the story has none of that-or has shows it in a bad light, I'll check the story out soon.

You come across a certain way, which to many may not be bad, but some of it is an angle I am strongly against in the real world so I can admit to reading more into your posts than might be there.

The story will bother you - it's not how you want females to be - but I've been told by females who have been there that the story works extremely well.

Avoid my other stuff - kidnappings and forced orgasms and sexploitation galore. They virtually all end up as love stories - I don't write simple characters - but you won't get far enough into them to care.

Yeah why I hate my room mate would set me off-and I know that is because of my hang ups due to things in my past nothing to do with you-but regardless of reasons I avoid things that send me to work the bag for fifteen minutes before I self destruct. Intriguing point though on showing a D gone bad.

Its iffy with me on whether her having a choice takes the brakes off non con. Technically I think you're right, but if she is not leaving out of fear then I'm not sure, but your story, your concepts, your spin.

Having said that I have written scenes that allude to rape-not for titillation but to set up the story and define the character-and it makes me shudder when I do it, but since it comes from the dark corners of my mind I handle it a little better, I also have the advantage of already knowing what the animals get.
