Why is it that it's so hard for us to take compliments these days?? Or if we do, we down play them or turn them around. I have an acquaintance that is super smart and very talented and very beautiful - but when I say something positive about things I can tell they are not comfortable with the compliment. Has this world taken away our self worth? I know I'm guilty of not taking one well but this isn't about me. So for all you hot sexy, talented, smart people out there - you rock.

It's 100% negative self esteem.

So I've been thinking (ya I know, hard to get those few brain cells moving) next week marks my one year anniversary of joining lit. Trying to decide if I celebrate then or wait until Jan when I made my thread. Guess I have much to think about. Would have been nice if I had chapter 2 of Rachel and Paul's adventure but had other story ideas floating around thanks to a few of my friends on lit. I guess stay tuned for possible surprises.
