get wife to dominate

My wife and I have been together for a few years now and I have raised this issue before. During sex she is really interested, but when I ask her about it later she seems too shy to do it. I was wondering if there was anyway I can get her to become less shy about it.

I am going to use the "C" word again...

that being COMMUNICATION. You have to get talking in order to get anywhere, IMHO.
I see that she seems shy about discussing this...so here are my first three "try this" suggestions.
1) Pick your time and have a cozy couple of drinks first...not enough to get the old girl blotto, mate...just enough to relax her.
2) Be prepared to lead...she may need assurance that she is not "odd"...that you won't "think less of her " if she is interested. From the general tone of your post, it seems likely that you may have already done this. OK..next stage would be to get her to read some of this board...and see that we are human and have a lot of fun.
3) In conjunction with both or either of the above....let her get braced for the discussion, and not take her by surprise. I accept that it sounds a little odd, but if you can assure her that this is important TO YOU as well...and there was an opportunity to "have a cozy chat" on Wednesday (for example) she might do better for having agreed the discussion in advance...and then is mentally prepared. In all cases, buddy, keep her assured of your affection and respect.
