Ok. I click User CP. I click Edit Avatar. I see no options for adding an avatar.

How do I get one? It's driving me crazy, how much I look like a newbie on here.

You must post 100 times before you get an AV.

we've all been there. don't sweat it.

besides... looks can be deceiving... some vets are useless and some noobs are quite nice and useful. so having an AV doesn't make you the member you are... you'll be liked or disliked regardless of if there's a little picture there.

It's one of the stickies for the HT Forum. I wouldn't think it would be that hard to spot. Unless people don't actually read those things and those of us who thought we were being helpful might as well have not put forth the effort.

No, no one reads those things unless they've never been on this particular board before. It'd also help if they were called FAQs not Faqs.

Don't get huffy with us if you can't be bothered to read the stickies. Besides, if you've been here before (and it looks like you've been a Lit member for about a year and a half), you should already know what it takes to get an avatar.

Perhaps seeing as this is Lit we should make it the Fuqs (frequently un-searched questions) or the Fuks (frequently un-known suggestions) or maybe the Fucks (frequently un-communicated knowledge section) that is the one to draw the eye. Perhaps we could get Lady G or Bluesugar to change the title of the sticky to FUCKS?

The more posts you have the more ppl get to know you, the more ppl get to know you the bigger chance of making friends here, the more friends you have the happier you are (or atleast in my case the happier I am).......
But as far as the AV goes, if you have over 100 post, means you are more than likely to be sticking around and not just vanishing after a few and losing interest, and why waste their HD space....
