get an avatar?

Apparently when I first signed up I chose not to have an avatar and now I can't figure out how to get one. I click on "edit avatar" and the circle is checked that says "use no avatar" how do I change that? There doesn't appear to be any other options!

You need 100 posts to activate the custom avatar option.

A few people snuck in an avatar with fewer posts during the transition to the mew software, but they can't change it until they reach 100 posts and the avatar function is enabled again.

You have to have 100 posts before you can get an AV...post 96 more times then ask again :)

Thanks! I'm up to 20 something already.......I really have no idea how ya'all keep up, I've been here practically 24/7 for 2 days now and have only touched the tip of the iceberg, sure is a LARGE community of people!

I have over 100 posts, but still no avatar - where do I find the option????

In your User CP, there should be an 'Edit Avatar' link in the menu on the left side of the page. Click it, and upload.
 
I am also having the problem with not being able to get an AV... I think there is something wrong. *pouts* get me addicted to a site then no perks for reaching 100 posts. makes me really sad. But it doesn't stop me from posting!

Don't tell me that! I'm so excited about getting my avatar! (I know, I'm such a dork LOL) I'm getting addicted to the board too, but I will be sooo disappointed :(

I noticed teh option was there when the software switched, but didn't avail myself of it. Oh well...
 
I see I'm not the only one who can't find the upload option :( I posted a question about it in the HT boards, but haven't gotten an answer back yet :( Granted I don't have a pic to put up yet it'd be nice to have the option when I find one!!
 
Am over my 100 and can't find an avatar I love. I have one that isn't bad but not in love with it. Now if I could just figure out how to size it properly without loosing half of it.

Download "irfanview" perfect for resizing and viewing pics.

Not really sure if this will help, but have you tried changing skins, some have caused problems for me in other areas.
