Gene Pitney died today in Cardiff, Wales, UK where he was on tour.

For those of us of a certain generation, he will be missed. :rose:

A Town Without Pity was my favorite of his. He will be missed. :(

You can get it at Wal-Mart downloads for 88 cents. I just checked it's availiable.

mostly because I enjoyed several of his songs. It was a mood thing, picking a favorite. And that changed on a regular basis.

That is a shame. I remember listening to him when I was a kid. How old was he anyway?
 
Even on his last performance, his voice still sounded as it always had.

A great showman, songwriter and impresario.

I hope he died with the memory of an appreciative audience.
