Well here goes:

I'm a 19 year old straight male thats a proud geek living in the Edmonton, Alberta area.

I'm into Firefly/Serenity primarilly (A VERY proud browncoat!) but I follow many sci fi series, I have a passing interest in topics related to the paranormal. While I don't belive everything I hear I often find it interesting and entertaining to listen too. I also (like many other geeks) enjoy playing computer games when I have time, I can usually be found playing Halo PC online on a semi regular basis.

Currently I have just finished the first year of an Avionics engineering program at school here.

I'm looking for a lovely lady in the Alberta area (Preferably Edmonton) to chat with (not necessarily sexually) and maybe hang out eventually. If things go beyond that great, but I'm really looking for someone with similar intrests that just wants to hang out and have a fun time.

Yeah I'm in Pittsburgh too. Are you paying? I'm too busy with my own game design project and the nonfiction book I'm writing to do anything for free. I also don't usually do anything gritty, gory, or western-comic or realistic-style, so it depends what kind of post apocalyptic you're talking about. The aquatic race on my saples page was actually created for a postapocalyptic MMO, but they rejected it in favor of a western comic-style design. But the joke was on them because their 3D modeler was so bad the model of the race looked nothing like the concept art anyway.

It's good to see that theres other geeks/women who love geeks floating around here on Lit. I'm a newer member and I find it great to be able to talk with others openly in a (mostly) non judgemental enviroment (however I find the amount of racist propaganda here to be fairly disterbing, even if it is the vast minority).

Anyways I never really got into tabletopping or LARPing as I never had anyone to play with, however recently I have goten into MUSHing. If anyones interested I can usually be found on "Into the Black" a Firefly MUSH.

BTW if you knew the acronym above chances are you're a geek:

The mods tried banning him, but he's working from a public comp, and changes his name each time. It's just one troll.

I finally graduated and got my B.A. in English, but I haven't yet figured out a way to make any money with it. I usually do my shop-talking on gamedev.net, you should check it out if you've never been there.

My game design, Xenallure: A Tapestry of Hearts, is a single player PC RPsim, It's romance-focused, kind of like a cross between harvest moon and final fantasy. It's also post-apocalyptic actually, but long enough after the bionuclear apocalypse that the survivors have organized themselves into some distinct new cultures, and there isn't much left in the way of pre-apocalypse artifacts or information. As far as I knew it wasn't the largest mall anymore.. Japan has one bigger, and I heard America was working on one even bigger, no clue when it'll finished though. (or if it already is)

Beyond that, West Ed mall is nothin' but a tourist trap... I visit every time I go though *laugh* I just go for the lazer tag *chuckle*
