It was a crapshoot as to whether I should post this here or in the GLBT forum but are there many gay or bi men in BDSM relationships that post here? I think it's mostly MF relationships but I'd be curious to find out. I'd like to talk to men in this situation to try and educate myself.

I have called myself bi for many years, but am now presenting as gay - and there are not many bi/gay men here.

welcome, and what would you like to discuss?

Shank

Yeah, this forum is predominantly het, and I'm not gay, or bi sexually *plops down next to Shanky*, but I'm a male Domly type hairy bear of a guy who does SM play with both sexes...

And tease Shanky unmercifully. :D

Welcome aboard!

*dances a happy jig*

i'm so happy that there's people to talk to. i knew that this place would help me out.

i'm wanting to try and educate myself and learn about myself and how i can fit within a D/s relationship based upon those those things i know. hopefully, such a person would open doors for me that i never even knew existed. i'm really about enlightenment of a sexual nature, but i think this whole thing goes so much deeper than that.

i don't know. learning and chatting and talking would prove helpful before i try to seek someone out, i think. but ultimately, someone training me would be the most effective way to really expand my horizons. just doing it. but being prepared is something that i'm big on.

How did each of you get started in this lifestyle? I'm thinking about getting some essential reading to learn more and hopefully find some blogs about male submission in a straight or gay relationship. What would you recommend as a method of trying to gain understanding about yourself in this circumstance?

You will find a LOT of books from the Gay Leather perspective at Daedelus Publishing - http://www.daedaluspublishing.com/ :

Sensous (sp?) Magic is one of the best books ever. My first ever girlfriend bought it for me to make me read all about "rough sex." If only i kept her around longer and learned more from her...(other than a love of being tied up and fisted.)

JUICE helped me get past all my concerns about running electricity around in my butt and gonads - a great book and a must read for anyone wanting to ZAP-ZAP

I suggest including "TRUST - The Hand Book" by Bert Herrman - gay play eventually gets around to ass fisting for many players - *GREAT BIG SMILE*

I made it up as I went along.

I am neither gay nor bi. Beyond answering that question, I can't think of anything useful to contribute at the moment.

I'm really just popping in to say: Welcome to the board.

Hi Secret Window,

I'm a bisexual boy serving my Mistress. I was hooking up with both males and females, then i met my Domme. As much as I like another guys bod, i have to say that I prefer to serve my Mistress. Luckily, she doesn't mind if I have a hot boy over every now and then - but on her terms.
