That whole "Youthful ward, Dick Grayson" thing was always a bit off. Like what he doing running around with wealthy bachelor Bruce Wayne in the first place???

Most likely becuase Hollywood doesn't think it would be a viable deal, probably too controversial, and they would try to play it off as an action/comedy. In order not too defend the overly conservative.
