Galactic X-Men (OOC)

I had an idea for a story set a few centuries in the future where Wolverine leads a crew of smugglers and outlaws who also happened to be unregistered mutants -- something the Systems Alliance can't stand. They employ the Sentinels -- Space Marines with cybernetic and genetic enhancements -- to hunt down unregistered mutants and deliver them to the authorities. Usually the penalty for not registering is a lengthy sentence in a labor camp or mining colony. And if one does register willingly, they are often treated like second class garbage, find it hard to earn a living, turn to crime, and end up getting sent to a labor camp or mining colony anyway. So many mutants take their chances being an outlaw or space pirate.

For the story, I'm thinking Wolverine commands a pirate ship called the Blackbird, though Charles Xavier used to be the captain. After a fairly brutal space flight that killed Xavier and nearly destroyed the ship, Logan had it upgraded. This RP can pick up at the space port in the grungy, polluted, crime-filled back alley streets of the Tortanta district of Doomstadt, the capital city of the planet Latveria. You characters can either be part of Xavier's old crew or newcomers that Logan is just hiring. Anyone interested?
