Never accurately pointed out that we have an appropriate place for GLBT personal ads. I don't see how that is any sort of "sensitivity" issue.

There is a difference betweeen a PERSONAL AD, which one of the Moderators of this board clarified in this very thread, which gets moved to the PERSONAL AD BOARD, and "flirting".

If you see a post that looks like a "personal ad" and it annoys you just don't reply to it...

seems simple to me .. instead of making a point to ostrasize the people making those posts.....

Dunno how you read Never's original post, buddy, but I'm getting that you found it condescending and derisive. I thought both her wording and her judicious use of smileys presented a very nonjudgemental, helpful tone. I didn't read any sarcasm, exasperation, or closemindedness. The moderators move personals because they don't belong here, but a lot of new people don't know that. Never very courteously pointed that out.

If someone came to the BDSM board and asked "How do I get my gf to like me?" we're gonna refer them to the How-To board. That doesn't mean the person is stupid or new or their question doesn't deserve an answer. It means that Literotica is such a large forum that we have sections specifically focused on various topics and needs of their respective communities, and for the fastest, most varied, and most accurate replies, it's to your own benefit to post in the right damn board.

Most of the specific forums have a person or a group of people that are the unofficial "welcome committee." It's a thankless, shitty job, largely because of misunderstandings and "blah blah free speech blah blah oppression" confrontations like this.

But mostly I'm sorry that you aren't able to enjoy the particular flavor that is Never. That's truly a pity.
