Future MiL's Shocking question

It's one week from Gina's wedding day and she was working out last minute details with Sharron, her future MiL. To say she was stunned by Sharron's question would be an understatement. Not just the question, but the utter casualness of it. It was all Surreal.

"Have you decided who you are going to cuckold my son with?" Sharron had asked after asking about the flowers for the reception.

Gina just stared at the older woman. 'Did she really ask that?' Gina thought, not even able to formulate a response.
Sharron realizing they weren't on the same page elaborated "Dear I love my Johnny, but he's his father's son and he will never satisfy you. You will have to take a lover, Just like I did." She said to the shocked face of her son's fiancé.

"Wha... no, Johnny's a... wonderful lover." Gina stammered unconvincingly. Not wanting to admit the truth to Sharron.

"Listen Gina, I am very aware of my son's short comings, and so is he. He knows you will take a lover, His father has explained it all to him a long time ago." Gina heard from woman she thought she knew.

Her head was spinning. "I need to lay down." Gina said, and made her way to the sofa.

That's what I was thinking. MiL is a kind of sherpa to her new daughter in law. Gina finds out who the family she's about to marry into really are and what they expect of her. Gina is pretty straight laced, so it's really overwhelming.

And then there's the angle with her fiance, he's going into this marriage not just suspecting his future bride to cheat on him, but expecting it as a forgone conclusion. Add to that, it is facilitated by his parents. At least his mom, but I envision the father to be subservient to mom, and will do her bidding.

Well first a wife having a secret son while she's married is a bit of a stretch. Plus the appeal I got was the maternal humiliation that the male family were inherent cucks. Second, frankly pushing the bride to a brother to cuckold younger brother has been done. This is the mother in law flat out telling her future daughter in law that her son will be a good husband, but he's going to be a terrible lover. And he already knows and accepts that he won't be a traditional sexual partner going into the marriage.

Twist: Instead of taking a boyfriend herself, Gina finds a boyfriend for Johnny. Gina takes her MiL as a lover. Everyone lived happily ever after.

This just pretty much discards the original premise to make a gay and lesbian story. Why would the marriage go through? What you propose is to make beard wife seduced by MiL. An interesting concept, but different from my original idea.
