Sometimes I think you must be insane. I dream of being on the beach, and when I go I'm usually not ready to get back by the time I have to.

I'll take some hugs anyways, I feel I need them...

*chuckles a bit madly*

I won't debate the issue of my sanity. :D

I do feel that I'm very lucky. I get to go to the beach. I'm thrilled to go. I need it to restore my spirit. I look forward to the trip all year.

I'm even more lucky IMO that by the time my seven days and nights are up, I'm thrilled to go home. I can't wait to get home to my kitties, my bed and so on. There is nothing quite as easing as returning to the world you've created for yourself.

Then again, if I could afford to live at the beach and make that my world, woo hoo!!!

First shot from the beach. Did you know my shadow has a lil pee pee?

Sorry Fury, I'm afraid I missed the first one... Cute shadow by the way, I caught the whisps of hair... *drools* I love long hair, something to wrap my fingers in and pull...

Lovely sunset as well. :)

Thanks beautiful Graceanne!

I am kinda addicted to the Internet but I'll do my best to deal with the lack thereof if I should not have access.

I don't know about telling y'all all about it. Not sure how noteworthy it will be but I do still have two toys I haven't used.

*winks*

Ah man a week without the internet is sometimes really really nice... cellphone off and no internet.... kind of a technological exile... enjoy it.

So no one liked my previous picture? *sob* I will try one more before I give up.
You know...I'm still looking for the lil pee pee, in the first picture. It must be REALLY lil, is all I can say.

But, the orange sunset is quite nice. :D

Miss :rose: Fury:rose: I think you would be astounded by the amount of your photographs of beaches , rocks and skies I have pirated and use as my desktop here on the Computer. Three come to mind immediately, you are talented :rose:

Talented?

*blushes*

Wow!

Thank you. Digital cameras are quite fantastic! They make any shot look pretty good IMO.

I grew up on a beach.... my childhood was sand and surf and seagulls and swimming. The one thing that still sticks with me is the incredible beauty of the weather on the coast. The clouds are so much more full and heavy, the sunlight brighter, more striking as it slices through them. Heat and cooling off, light and darkness, power of thunder and ocean with the soft caress of sand and wind.

God I miss the beach.

Okay... Am I the only one who noticed the sunbleached TARDIS sitting off to the rear on the right side of the photo? The Doctor has obviously missed Briton... Again!

*is very confused*

What is TARDIS?

Which doctor?

In what context is Briton used above?

Oh and I didn't take this one. I'm kind of in it.

Well Fury, I like all of your photos.....except the sand. Sand in the suit is NOT fun. :rose:  :p

Doctor Who, British SCi-fi, travels in a TARDIS that looks like a phone booth.

I saw it but thought it was a porta-potty not a TADIS. Shows you were my mind is.

Nice shorts Fury

Ah!

Thanks!

Well the "phone booth" or TADIS, is I believe a sign advertising the condos. LOL!

The shorts are simply a lil wrap skirt that came with the swim suit but thanks! I like this suit a lot. It turns blue in the water and is metallic green when wet.

I rarely got much sand in my suit this time. I'm such a good girl!

*smiles sweetly*
So....you stripped before you lyed down, is what you're saying. And, you made a mad dash for the surf, with suit in hand...to wash off the sand, before you put it back on.

And, because your suit is metalic green color in that shot...all of this has just happened before that picture was taken. I'm sure, if we could see your face, you'd be smiling. Oh, and those are VERY nice legs. :p :D

What is TARDIS?
TARDIS = Time And Relative Dimensions In Space = a time travelling space craft used by The Doctor (he is a Time Lord, think very cool, intergalactic good guy)

Which doctor?
THE Doctor. The program is called Doctor Who But in all the years it has been running, The Doctor has never introduced himself or been introduced as anything except ... "the Doctor."

In what context is Briton used above?
Actually, my bad, but it's actually Brighton (I mis-spelled it the 1st time). The Doctor is constantly telling his companions that he wants to take a vacation at the beach in Brighton, but in spite of the ability of the TARDIS to travel in space and time, he NEVER quite gets it right. It's a running joke, kind of like Bugs Bunny popping out of the hole and saying "I KNEW I shoulda toined left in Albequerque!" Brighton is roughly 50 - 60 miles due south of London: http://www.brighton.co.uk/

Oh and I didn't take this one. I'm kind of in it.
*wolf whistles, claps his hands* Ahhh-oooo-GAH! Hubba-hubba! What a dame!

Sorry for the wee hijack, FurryFury. I think it's sometihng we all should know...that life does continue, and sex does continue, after bypass surgery. :nana:

Thanks for the leg compliment!

And thanks for all that whistling and clapping. Makes me wish I had a construction site to visit.

I'm happy to provide the forum for that message DVS!

*beams*

BTW, I'm heading out for a short-ish road trip tomorrow. You probably won't hear from me until Sunday at the soonest once I leave.
