funniest movie, most frightening movie

just read the thread about the day the world stood still and it got me to wondering...what's the funniest movie you ever saw and what is the most frightening...let's say as an adult....

for me the funniest movie ever was "dirty rotten scoundrels" with michael cain and steve martin...by far the most frightening movie ever made was the original "alien"...those assholes just wouldn't let you go....set you up, scare the shit out of you....set you up, scare the shit out of you...it's still the only movie ever made that i won't watch alone...and i'm a big ole manly sort of man...
