Can't say I've had that kind of fun in the snow.. But then again, around here it gets a wee bit cold, and one tends to want to avoid getting frost bitten in such dellicate areas..

The Earl

I'm trying to freak ya'll out.

The original thread title was: Earl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I was begging for your help, to stop me drinking this bloody wine tonight. But you did that in PMs anyway, and I didn't want the sombre mood being prolonged and spilling out onto here, so I changed it.

I talks lots when I've had a drink. Should write lots.

I suspect that what I have to say does not at all reflect the spirit of your post. However, I could not resist the opportunity to post an item of wisdom regarding fun in the snow.

DO NOT EAT YELLOW SNOW!

Me. I've had fun in the snow, that is. I'm from Maine. It's a tradition.

We got a foot of snow in Mid October. We only got a sprinkle here and there since then and now all the snow is gone. Looks like we might get the dreaded New Years Blizzard. Hopefully we won't get far below -40C like we did last year.

British snow is made from tea crystals that float into the atmosphere and freeze.

What is this 'snow' you speak of?

Pardon me, I need to head outside and tan for a while...:p

We had rain once...but I blinked and missed it.

On a serious note, we got to see a nice hail storm when we visited the Grand Canyon a couple months ago. That was pretty fun. :)

LOL...didn't gosling leave the windows down in her car during that?

Hail is pretty cool, except when it's huge and causes damage. I've only seen it marble sized. Amazing how that stuff is created in the atmosphere and can stay up there a while.

Well we had her new car and it was not covered. Luckily it escaped without damage.

And yes, as a smoker, she oftens has the windows cracked and forgets to roll them up the 6 times a year it rains.

Fun in the snow? You mean a snow ball fight.. yep had one or two of those.

No you shouldn't eat the yellow snow, but, they melt it, bottle it and sell it. They call it Mountain Dew.

As for snow.. I'd be more than willing to share some of mine with anyone so deprived they have to get sun tanned during winter.
