I was notified today that someone stole one of my stories and posted it somewhere called, fanfiction.net. This person who notified me gave me advice on how to get it taken down, so I'm going to go about doing that.

Fucking hell! I know it happens all the time, and I suppose plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery, but that really pisses me off.

Grrr.

Ok, well, I clicked the link provided to me where I could find my story on this other site, and it's not there. It just said the story was not found. I did a search for it and didn't see it. I guess it has somehow resolved itself?

It's kind of strange, because that site seems to be all about ... well ... fan fiction, and my story was not. So I don't know what is going on.

Very mysterious. And annoying.

They only have to load it into a word processor and replace your protagonists names with Ashton Kutcher and and Barbra Streisand. Voila - fan fiction.

They could even have changed the title of your story - "Master and Sarah Palin: A night on Capitol Hill." Maybe that's why you can't locate it...
