well then i think it's a case by case... not sure i could set a definitive range... my lower number has progressively gotten lower... down to 22... but he's ummm wow.... upper end??? who knows - i guess i'd say 20 years in either direction but has to be chemistry - and janey is right - there's a difference between just fucking and an actual relationship.

Dad was 14 years older than mom - they were married for 46 years.

Two of my co-workers are married - she's 42, he's 64... they are amazing together... but of course came to it with families already in place.

that's why I say it really has to be a case by case basis. I've known amazingly mature put together 20 somethings and some ridiculous juvenile 50 somethings... so i just say keep your heart open and who knows....

There are so many variables involved...personalities, compatability, maturity levels..sometimes its just timing. I've been with women 10 years older than me, that were in their 40's and had an incredible time. I've been with them a lot younger, over 10 years or more..and some were phenomenal and one that I thought I really cared for, wasn't worth a damn.

at this point in my life, I am open to someone that will blow me away...and the age thing isnt nearly as important.

i don't know. i guess it is more up to the individuals involved.

for just sex, as long as she is over 18. an actual relationship? she'd have to be 25 to my age. but i do prefer them younger than myself. i am 45. not a whole lot of women out there my age who are into metal and such. for a relationship, we have to click mentally.

i was with a 20 yr old when i was 43. it was fun, great sex. but live with her? no.
