Hi Ya {{{{{{ Kayte }}}}}} I lived on the near South side when Allen Bradley built the plant in 'Tiaquana (sp?) They thought their profit margin would fucking increase. Didn't happen. For people who have no work ethic for punching a clock, paying attention to fucking detail....it was a disaster for them. They lost market share.

Too late for the people's lives they devastated here.

It did so fucking much to ruin that part of Milwaukee. Guess that has happened all over the states!!!

Milwaukee has handled it....albeit with lower paying jobs, more travel time, less family time. Bad enough.

In the small towns it's a different fucking story. Couple good sized family farms go belly-up, and the implement dealer, the hardware store, the grocery store go as well. Throw in a Wally World and it guts a whole community.

We need to make some tuff fucking choices here. Support your local business or lose it and the tax base it represents.

I have some Idea where you're coming from {{{{{kayte}}}}} because although our "leaders" appear to be on the opposite ends of the political spectrum, they do seem to be very close in terms of overseas policies!
You are just embarking on a second term with your man, we are nearing the end of the second term with ours and it's looking increasingly likely that he and his party are going to sweep into a third term!! I just hope that during the next few months something happens to wake our voters up because our "Black Watch Regiment" have just been moved up nearer to Bhagdad and are starting to take casualties now! I strongly suspect that this was the intent in moving them in the first place! Our two (b)"leaders" both think that this move will have some sort of political benefit for them both! Sounds like roughly a little over half the people who voted in your elections supported his views, what a pity those people too apathetic or disillusioned to have voteds did not make their views known! I know we will have a much larger proportion of registered voters who abstain than you have too and I think they can make all the fucking difference!
