This is the most down to earth, realistic, and rather 'refreshing' thing I've read in a long time. As much as it is a shame, it is just the way it will always be.

However, because of my leaning toward the side of the idea that if you learn, you won't repeat/do wrong things, I believe that the purpetuation of these things really comes from us disregarding what we have to learn from life. Not that we need to keep learning.

Why does it have to be a shame? Without Yin, there is no Yang; it's as simple as that. Appreciate both, respect both and there should be little problem. Being aware of the danger and pain that life can dish out is apart of it.
