I realize that ideally this person is both, I guess what I'm wondering is when the lust kinda fizzles and you are more "friends" than lovers. How do you do the transition?

I've been through the "just friends- fuck buddies- just friends again" and I definitely don't suggest it. The guy and my girlfriend (whom I've been with now for 4 yrs.) used to be friends and since I've been with Danielle there has been a horrible tension between them. He thinks he's in love after one fuck more than 4 yrs. ago. I can't stand to be around him anymore. He's so hard-up. He still gives my girl dirty looks. He works for my Dad and he's become part of the family so that just makes it harder. I watch him take advantage of my Dad and I just want to scream.
