I'm told that a friend of mine just left NYC because she was evacuated from her home, at least 5, 6 blocks from the Empire State Building after a bomb scare last night. She and all of the refugees from downtown to whom she was providing shelter got chased out on very short notice, so it sounds like a whole new whole in Manhattan. Shadowborn, is this true?

Meanwhile, there are lots and lots of bomb threats going on here and it's causing very serious problems. Grand Central Station, LaGuardia Airport, etc. I'm not aware of a single incident in which any Middle Easterners have been assaulted this week, but everyone I know would love to get our mitts on a bomb hoaxer! These people deserve to be seriously fucked up.

CNN just reported that more than 90 bomb scares in New York since midnight last night.
