Okay, dub me dork but I saw Spiderman last night. It was really neat. Lots of action. Tobey Maguire in spandex. And chock full of as much irony as a stereotypical comic book could possibly contain. I'm thinking about making a satire with that much irony--no Tobey, though. Too much respect for the man that can wear spandex that well. Go see the movie.

I waited 23 years for this movie, and besides some fanboy nitpicks, it exceeded my wildest expectations.
It made 41 million dollars on Friday alone, smashing the Harry Potter record of 33.
Tobey was on Howard Stern the other morning. Seems he got 4 million for this one, but he signed on for 20 million for the sequel, up to 30 if there's a third. He also mentioned that he went to acting classes for the first time beforehand. Howard asked if it was just to score some trim, to which Tobey embarrasingly agreed. Then when Howard asked how much pussy he got from class, Tobey eventually admitted to sleeping with more than 10, but less than 20 girls in his class.
