My heritage is much Irish...my gf came over from County Mayo...I never knew him though. I have never been but would love to have visited Ireland! Perhaps you can fill my head with tales and images of that glorious country and it's culture. The more stories I get, the more I love it!

Dang, poppy1963, I'm was born and reared in Co Mayo for the first thirteen years of my life. I live in the U.K now, have done since I was 14/15...if you've won the lottery recently, I'm your long lost cousin.

Mostly rthymn guitar. Did a lot of James Taylor, Eagles, CSNY, Beatles, John Denver. I play by ear, so can just about figure anything.

I try and play guitar and a little bit of tin-whistle as well so I've quite a few old song books of rare Irish tunes lying around. If you're struggling for lyrics (or chords, although I very much doubt you find the chords to Irish tunes difficult to decipher ) feel free to ask. I'll be glad to help, if I can

Well, yesterday was bad. I got stuck in some of the jr high drama that goes on around here. But I am much better now that I have this new place to hang out and got people coming here JUST for friendly chat. (At least I hope and pray it says that way.)

From a bad food..shame to say...wasnt able to detect that anchovies wasnt good at all,cause was starving maybe Thank God,no flu and no vomiting.Have to be careful next time. Day here so far so good,just an ordinary for me.Just gonna relax.tho scared a bit of eating So Im taking it slow,just having biscuits and soup for now.

Yea that is safe to have... crackers and soup. I am doing just fine. It is a nice cool evening and like I said the frogs and the crickets are the musicians for tonight. It's a nice cool 68. Drinking some water and just enjoying the evening.

I created this thread because there was a house, a friends house, where they had one of those huge wrap around porches. We used to have long nights and days where we would just sit and hang out and play guitars and just enjoy our friendships.
