Greetings Fellow Scribblers,

A new story, "Queen of Hearts," by ProofreadManx has been offered up for critique on the Story Discussion Circle. It's a character driving romacne/erotic couplings tale and has received very positive comments from folks such as the_bragis and Just_John1. Give it a read and give him some feedback.

The SDC also needs some more stories. There are only two waiting in the wings and once KM finishes her finals, the pace will probably pick-up. The only requirements (and they're subject to change depending on KM's mood) is that the story already be accepted by Literotica and that the writer have participated by critiquing some of the stories already on the SDC.

Well...for some reason, though I have no trouble whippin' off some lit-crit in an informal atmosphere or one-on-one, I freeze up when I am asked to follow anything approaching rules. ;-)

This is why I have never participated in the SDC. My eyes glaze over and my hands shake when I read discussion guidelines, even eminently reasonable ones. I have no idea why the SDC rules are such a barrier to me, but they are. I tried several times to post something and I lost heart almost immediately. Then I ran off to another forum and did my critting where no obligations were met or incurred and no one is keeping score.

MM: There are no rules. All that you have to do is post the url of your story and participate in other people's discussions. Speaking of which, sorry PRM I will get round to doing your story at some point. Eventually.
