Free Willy was a great movie...
Free Willy was a great movie. It would be nice to see it reworked with a different theme. I was thinking of a movie where crowds of Libtards are standing outside a federal prison shouting for the release of Bill Clinton after the Epstein investigation brings him down. But, if enough people get suicided that day may never come.

A line that is often in news papers?
Thanks for the heads up. I edited the line that I think you are talking about. The odd thing is that the topic is often expressed the same way in mainstream news papers. It is a problem in society and it shows up in the news. If it is true that a person can get banned from Literotica for using a phrase that often appears in mainstream new papers then the censorship here is worse then I would have imagined. I do understand that anything that seems to promote certain behavior would be frowned on but in this context it was not explicit and highly condemnatory of any such behavior.
So it is boggling to me but not the first time I have been boggled.
Is the edit enough or is a critical comment about Willy out of bounds too?

If you noticed, she just did. The term is disturbing to her because it makes thinking people pause and say: "Well nothing is really FREE. Someone has to pay for it."
That realization is toxic for people like AOC. So she just came out and attacked the phrase. She said she never want to hear "free stuff" again.
The new politically correct term to help hide reality from the sleeping masses is: "PUBLIC GOODS."

Liz Warren rides again
In a desperate effort to find whores that will sell their vote in exchange for the promise of "free stuff" - Warren is running an add in which she promises to give an extra $200.00 per month to ALL people drawing social security.
Then she explains that it will all be paid for by taxing the upper 2% "just a little bit more."
Of course, like all whore mongers she is lying. Social security is already in deep financial trouble. Stealing a "little bit more" from the upper 2% would not save it or make that kind of added expense viable. Even if the little bit more meant stripping all the wealth from the upper 2% and leaving them homeless, it would not be enough to do what she says she wants on a sustained base.
She of course knows that. She is counting on a percentage of old people that like the idea of more government "free stuff" so that she can gobble up a few more mindless voters.

Also, zucchini. There is a certain time of year where the elderly just amass a metric fuckton of zucchini, arguably the shittiest vegetable because you think it's gonna be a delicious cucumber, but then you bite into it and it tastes like shit. But they keep trying to give it to you, even though no one wants it. I've just went outside before and found it in the back of my brother's truck because some random old person put a whole box of zucchini in there.

Even though your nebulas point was vague and therefore hard to respond to with anything specific, I will say this: If Trump reaches into his personal wealth and gives away free stuff I have no problem with that. My husband and I do support a few worthy charities. We would do a lot more if the government didn't take so much in taxes and give it to planned parenthood to keep the population of black people more to their liking. Not to mention all the money they squander on people that have invaded the country by sneaking across the border.
But if what you are trying to say is that Trump promoted taking money from USA citizens and giving it to wealthy people I think that would be very wrong. This is not a political issue to me. It is not left and right. There have been lots of republican POTUS and congress people that plunder the country with heavy tax and squander it on free shit for lazy people. I don't think any of it is morally correct.
So, get specific about what Trump gave away that is bugging you and maybe we will be on the same page about it.

Your follow-up may be a glimpse into what your were trying to say and how your mind works. Are you saying that if the government lowers taxes on people that they are therefore "giving" the people something? I would like to see that expressed as a math formula.
That idea is based on the socialistic concept that everything is the property of the state and therefore tax is not something they are taking from people... it is theirs to being with! If they tax you less, that is some how a gift from them to you.
