Don't Fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
"The grave's a fine and private place,

Mr Marvell had obviously never encountered the Dark Fantasy genre...
A whole new world of necrophilia...
I recall a brilliant little song be Jake Thackeray about the Jolly Captain.
He was encumbered by "a bitch of a wife".
She died, but said "if you marry again, I'll claw my way up from my grave and I'll haunt you."
The Jolly Captain married again but when reminded of his late wife's threat, said: "I buried her face downwards; she's along way to go"

Eddie Izzard

Oh my favourite! I love Eddie Izzard. His gorgeous goings on about lipstick and his French grandfather. He is so silly.
And how about when he was in Valkyrie with Tom Cruise - he was great. Typical of that film to glamourise the event and make it like some ethically motivated plot against Hitler, when actually if you watch the documentary bits, you can see it's the old Junker class pissed off because they were losing power and influence and trying to get it back.
Anyway, lipstick.

Eddie Izzard as Charlie Chaplin in The Cat's Meow. It's about the murder that occurred on Hearst’s yacht.

Eddie Izzard
Ok Eddie Izzard I know (of) but not well. What planet are you guys on? Or. indeed, what planet am I on? Just out of the loop but I don't think I am missing much of pop culture.
I get by!
So what do I associate?
not much..a stitch in time -- saves nine? (thinking of darning my socks)![]()

Oh for the Death Star Canteen, you want this version.
Darning your socks has to be followed by
stockings, my darling.

Dear Anthropological Mum,
In the American Southwest, broken pottery was often treated ceremonial, being deposited in special 'dump' rooms or even interred in the community's cemetery. Perhaps everything people make can become, in its own way, sacred.
Now, darling, let me slowly roll those darn stockings off your lovely legs.![]()
for the lovely legs.
Lovely legs, mm. I freely associate that to YourSINSerely.for the lovely legs.
MY lovely legs, why thank you, fellow postmodern romantic. They are associated with
Pink Wellies!
ROFLOL.

OMG! Pink Wellies. Latex and mud puddles! Such stuff as dreams are made on!![]()
Sticky toffee pudding?
OK, but can it match a mum in naught but pink wellies romping in a mud puddle?
...though, I suppose if the pudding were spread in the right places...![]()
