Hullo, sailor.
Jane Grigson's delicious Persian spinnach and yoghurt salad- ooh mm, I'm going to make it!
And Imam Bayildi - which means the Imam Fainted (stuffed aubergines). Jane Grigson says 'presumably with pleasure' at how delicious they are, but I think it must be because the aubergines look like little slippers poking up as if the rotund Imam had toppled over and was lying with his curly-toed slippers sticking up in the air.
There are a few Imams who really would be better off, fainted

We must show them the way to the Hot Arabic Chick thread, I'm sure that will help. Which reminds me ...
Oh, an association.
Um, minarets - they are very beautiful sometimes.

The sound of one hand clapping..![]()
I recall Shelley Berman (a very under-rated funny man) making references to those Zen thoughts, once.

I know your number, it's 867-5309.![]()
Kismet

And what fate befell you in Scotland? Did you try any single malts, LOL?
Oh, let me add a really good association!
Apparently, they think Nelson might have been trying to say 'kismet, Hardy' - it is fate; not 'kiss me, Hardy', LOL.
Experimentation![]()
Mmm, goodness, what might I associate to that ...?
The table top volcano the cub scouts and I made with bicarbonate of soda and green food dye (cuz there was no red in the shop).
Bringing home the Boy Scout
(from "Lair of the White Worm")

LOL, that sounds very interesting. Now I'm thinking of Smaug: volcanoes and worms.
Lava tubes
...
(Did you know deep sea tube worms are all female? They capture larval tube worms with their food, but don't digest them; instead they incorporate them as clusters of sperm-producing organelles.)
LOL, when I went back to this, I found your sea tube worm reference. I was just about to post:
Sandcastle worms (we saw some on the beach yesterday, I think).
