First time I heard the Bangles I was driving cross country and it was after 0:00 in the morning on the Pennsylvania turnpike.

In a previous lifetime, I had to traverse that damn turnpike on a regular basis. Lewis and Clark had better roads to travel on back in 1804. :p

This reader got the blues when he discovered Another Bloody Superman spin-off comic.
I mean Effin' Superdog ?
Give me break, please!

I've always wondered if there was any truth to the rumor that the Red Baron shot down a German Ace close to his score.

Firstly, the Royal Guardsmen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oxzg_iM-T4E

Secondly, the Red Baron (Manfred von Richofen) was apparently shot down by an Australian Machine gunner. The Baron had been forced to fly very low and the Ack-Ack machine gunner let go, more in hope than assurance. The baron was actually alive when he 'landed' the tri-plane but died of his wound/s shortly after.

Old fighter pilots never die, they just run out of ammunition. ;)
