The last time I went camping was in a cabin with a full stove and fridge. Does that count?
Was there a sign outside saying Hyatt?

Yes, in my book it does! And that's as close to roughing it as I want to get!![]()
Emm, I believe that the word you are searching for is 'glamping'.![]()

Same here.I love those "Would you live here for a month" memes; like someone would have to pay me to live in a cabin in the deepest woods.
I could live with cooking on the fire but I like the cabin in the bed.
Hey, I had to share a bathroom with everyone else at the camping grounds and a whole lot of spiders.
Same here.
Is anything ever the same anywhere?
Now we're getting into different atoms when the river of time forks?
Is time a river or is it a single water drop?
I guess that depends on whether you're talking to a poet, a philosopher, or a theoretical physicist.
Ever try to talk to a theoretical physicist? I'll stick with neurologists.
I've never had the pleasure, but I greatly enjoyed Neil DeGrasse Tyson's interview with Michio Kaku.
So, just what role did Dr. Tyson play in the mistreatment of Pluto?
You mean Goofy's dog? What happened to him?

I think, technically, it's Mickey's dog. It would be odd if Goofy owned a dog.
Course there's nothing strange about an overgrown mouse owning a dog.
.
Not so long as you can keep the dog on a leash.
Cry havoc! And let slip the dogs of war.
War, HUH! Good God, Y'All. What is it good for? Absolutely Nothing!
I'm not sure that Caesar's lot shared our thoughts on the matter.
I admire pacifists and sometimes wish I could be one , but I fear there are too many assholes in the world to allow me to be.
I sometimes can't get over how beautiful the world is, despite all the assholes.
"I see trees that are green, red roses too
I watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I hear babies cry I watch them grow
And they'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself oh what a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of the people passing by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
But they're really saying I love you"
What a Wonderful World - Eva Cassidy
I know it sounds like the "old guy" thing to say, but a lot of the old music is just head and shoulders better than the newer stuff.
I think it depends on what you're listening to and what you're looking for in it. Something I heard recently talked about some people being more interested in the music itself and some people needing to understand the lyrics before they could enjoy the music. I also think, as with publishing and information at large, we are inundated these days with options, not necessarily of the highest quality.
