I think that I always did quite well on cars - more by good luck than good judgement. But then, quite early one morning, the boys and girls in white coats got me to put my head in a machine that made a hell of a lot of noise. And by lunchtime they told me that my licence had been cancelled. :(

If you mean an MRI, I know what you mean.
Mine sounded like a building site on speed heard through a long steel pipe.
And that's when I discovered I suffer from claustrophobia.
 
I rather enjoy enclosed spaces. I had an MRI once, but they gave me headphones.

Mine had a very inefficient, single [mono] loudspeaker too far away to be of any bloody use. But then, makers of these multi-million dollar machines would not think about putting in some music machine, would they ? [too simple !]

Um, it's been nearly twenty years but I'm pretty sure the headphones they gave me had music. :D

And then, of course, there's the TYPE of music.
Put some 'modern' grunge or rap and I'm out of there.
Beethoven, or sixties pop, OK.
But you have to be able to hear the stuff !
