That reminds me too much of those blasted dual side draft carbs Datsun (who remembers that name? :D ) put on the first 240Z cars in the early 1970s.

They were fine until you needed to adjust and recalibrate them which meant you were about to spend an entire day bouncing back and forth between them. :rolleyes:

My one 'mechanical' memory of my Datsun '24oz' was of changing the fuel pump. My knuckles bare the scars to this day. :eek:
 
I feel the same way about twin SUs.

Ah, I miss Car Talk. I know it's still on the air, but no new ones. Click and Clack, the Tappit Brothers. Ray and Tom Magliozzi, really. Anybody else know them? NPR call in show for car repair advice, but so funny too.

The first rule of car repair is if you drop a bolt or a nut, it's guaranteed to end up in the most inaccessible place possible. :(

I once sat at the back of a seaside Punch & Judy show audience to watch the kids.
It was fabulous.
