A trip to the moon on gossamer wings ...
Moon river, wider than a mile
I'm crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way

Moon river, wider than a mile
I'm crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way
Down by the river on a Friday night
A pyramid of cans in the pale moonlight
Talking 'bout cars and dreamin 'bout women
Never had a plan, just livin for the minute
Alan Jackson, Chattahoochee
"Looking down on empty streets, all she can see
are the dreams all made solid
are the dreams all made real
all of the buildings, all of those cars
were once just a dream
in somebody's head
she pictures the broken glass, she pictures the steam
she pictures a soul
with no leak at the seam
lets take the boat out
wait until darkness
let's take the boat out
wait until darkness comes."
--Peter Gabriel, Mercy Street
"Spare a little candle
Save some light for me
Figures up ahead
Moving in the trees
White skin in linen
Perfume on my wrist
And the full moon that hangs over
These dreams in the mist"
Heart, These Dreams
This is all a bit too literary for me.

Love Bites - Def Leopard
Terry Pratchett (may he rest in Peace) mentioned the "Quantum weather Butterfly".

Interesting concept. Now if we can only organize our seagulls on the Gulf Coast, we could stop being a hurricane magnet.

Makes for a whole new twist on how Dorothy got to Oz.

I'd find it helpful if someone could find the chaos butterflies responsible for our local rainfall and cull them a bit.
Would that be the oil barons? Little social butterflies they are.
I give you Math 350.
I'm afraid I can't really analyze the veracity but I've looked at how many scientists support the theory of global warming and why certain ones don't. I'm convinced.
And since that's pretty much a complete downer, here's Singin' in the Rain.
