Do you mean the Air Force acrobatic flying team?

If so...let me mention The Roulettes.

Spanking Michael's hand! The Thunderbirds are the Air Force team. The Blue Angels are the Navy boys.

or the Blue Eagles ?

I just watched this video of them . Had never heard of them before and all I can say is WOW!

And since you brought up helicopters: Who remembers "Puff the Magic Dragon" from the Viet Nam era?

.

There's no place for an AC-47 in a land called Honalee!

There was an interesting type of "Puff the Magic Dragon" a little later.
It was a multi-barrelled gun (think Gatling) and it was Awesome.

who are the actors shown, please?

From the Benson television series that ran from 1979-1986 ~ L-R: Robert Guillaume as Benson Dubios, James Noble as Governor Gatling, and Rene Aberjonios as Clayton Endicott.

Alzheimers...

btw,,,when I think of aerobatic flying I don't automatically think of the Navy! :D

I can understand that. Those Air Force boys don't like to admit the Navy teaches a lot of them how to fly. ;)

Looks like a scene from 'Benson' (something I've not seen or thought of since the very early eighties) with Benson on the left (whoever played him), that guy in the middle (stuff knows), and the legendary Rene Aberjonis (sic)(pronounced aber-jon-wa)(AKA - Odo off Star Trek, DS9... Hugo out of Warehouse 13... The poor shmuck trying to keep the law firm together in Boston Legal... The Evil Librarian in The Librarians... The bad guy in Stargate SG1 who wanted the heavy water to wipe out the non-clones on his planet...).....

Thanks for the help, chaps.
I thought I recognised Odo, which is why I asked.

If anyone fancies a quiet stroll in the Spring rain, there's a performance going on right now. Personally, I'd rather stay in; it's a trifle warmer.

Like Rene on "Legal" but recall him better from "Nash Bridges"... Prefer Robert on "Sports Night", & the bloopers between him & Mark-Paul they used to show at end of "College Years" episode.

Oh,... & truffles.
