humdrum...ffs all I saw was 'exotic' then you added extra words..

OK...I fail to see how you can apply tasty to a religion.

Hey! We all associate different things together based on our life experiences. Some religions punish gluttony, some don't.

lol

Wonder what those Evangelist churches punish?

The Catholic faith for example taught that indulgence is wrong, wealth is wrong etc. You must be meek and humble/modest in all things. The Protestants came in and said through hard work and achievement, you can partake in the result of your labour.

I associate catholosism with bland food.

Oh and Christianity observes fasting on special occasions, Muslims do too. Judaism promotes fasting on the sabbath as well I think. I can't support religious doctrines that promote starvation, no matter how short.

Catholosism..spelchek let you have that?

I thought the Anglicans had the blandest food.

Anglicans call Mardi Gras "Pancake Tuesday" and "celebrate" it accordingly. At least the Catholics know to take advantage of the last opportunity to indulge the senses before Lent.

Now, as for KRSNA - Krishna worship is mostly masturbation.

I'd say that's your way of observing it... No offense, but means little to me when you have multiple ways of spelling it.

Which, right now, I am associating with his son, who I think actually is/was named Randy Spelling.

The anglicized spelling is for easier recognition by folks unfamiliar with the Roman orthography for Hindi words. Are you familiar with Krishna or just with a limited range of spelling? I'd suggest you try the English mode, or ...

Tory Spelling.

Strange how easy it is to get some info ion different centuries, ain't it. ?
The Catholic Faith did not teach that wealth is wrong [consider how much the princes of the Church had made by the time of Henry 8].

Well, it used to. Particularly for Lent and so on.
Jews are permitted some strange biscuits (Matzos, I believe), but the time of fasting is only during the day. One cannot describe that as starvation [??]

Personally, I cannot get on with the Happy Clappy stuff, or, for that matter, the excessive humble stuff. My God is a friend.

No. These boards teach that 90% of what SR writes is wrong (either opinions or flat-out false).
