Sam the butcher dated Alice the housekeeper on what 1970's television show?

Clue? ....

WTF:
Eh?

Good Afternoon, now!
Which calls for some Afternoon Delight
I don't want to say that's a real oldie, but when it came out, some peanut farmer named Jimmy Carter was winning all the Democrat Presidential primaries.
.
The strawberry one was quite tasty.
I don't think that I have ever knowingly eaten Angel Delight of any hue, HP. But I remember my sister's kids being quite keen on the stuff when they were a bit younger. These days, crème brûlée prepared by a Michelin-starred chef is more their cup of tea.![]()
When we're kids we are so easily satisfied. Remember when we thought a Happy Meal was five-star dining?
.
In our case a take-away with Fish n' Chips.
Oh yes! fish and chips wrapped in butchers paper inside newspaper. Rip off one end to get to the hot chips inside (and keeping it all rolled up to keep them warm. And Chiko Rolls! mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
A salad.
you certainly lived dangerously in your youth huh?
Most salads these days aren't healthy, soon as you put these fatty dressings on the game is over.
Recently, salads in a well known Aussie supermarket were tainted with something. was it e-coli or salmonella? Not sure.
Oh and a good wash to get the chemicals off is de rigeur.
The same thing happened with the Chipotle chain (it's a Mexican themed healthy alternative fast-food restaurant) there produce was locally sourced for each restaurant, and cleaning procedures and best practices were not universal through out the chain.
The fact I will even chance eating out at all anymore happens solely because I spent eight years at summer camp as a Boy Scout and realize a little ash and/or dirt rarely kills anyone...and sometimes actually adds flavor and nutrition.
.
My ol' Mum used to reckon that was the case with Kelloggs Corn Flakes.
In this case, it was the box. . . .
Although I've been a big city boy for much of my life, I grew up on a farm. Most of what we ate was pretty fresh. But I'm not sure that too much it would would have conformed to today's food hygiene standards. I'm still here though.![]()
I'd say it's ok to eat foods fresh and unwashed at the farm as long there chemical free etc. Oh and it shouldn't be some Monsanto mutant crop.
Hey, when I was a boy, I'm not sure that there was a Monsanto.![]()
