'Lo Sugar! :)

Big bangs ... uh,

Hadron Collider

I take it you are referring to the Large Hadron Collider - as opposed to the Portable Hadron Collider, which I am sure I saw parked on the side of a local bypass recently.

In which case, Mr Higgs's Bosun.

I assume that Mr Higgs has some sort of sea-going vessel :)

LOL, yes, he is probably really Captain Higgs.

The scouts who come round for tea at my house every week are hideously disgustingly intelligent and ask horrid questions like "What is the difference between a quark and a boson?" At least I managed successfully to explain Einstein's theory of relativity to the older one, which I felt was quite an achievement for a social scientist!

'Hard' science explained by a 'soft' scientist.

See here.

Oh, I loved that! especially when they said there are different flavours of quarks! It reminds me of Quavers. I must learn that and repeat it verbatim to the cub scouts, they will be even more impressed than they were the day they were pretending to be bio-chemists and wanted me to be part of the game, and they said: "What should we call you: Mrs. Smith?" and I replied, "No, dahlink, you may call me Dr. Smith, because that acksherly is my title."

April showers

Bush showers - a canvas bucket raised by a pulley system, attached to a tree, filled with water then unscrewing the shower head, a shower for a good 2 minutes! Trick is to get wet, turn it off, soap up, then rinse.

Family bushland fishing shack memories 1980's - 1990's.

The Mobile Bath Unit.

... and a glass of wine perhaps?

Claret for breakfast?
(Now I will have to wear those sunglasses to go and teach in, and sleep under my cardigan like Bad Teacher to get over my hangover.)

'Lo Sugar :)

(Michael - your bush shower memories reminded me of the film Storm Boy which I saw the other day :).)

Typical Naoko..so much to associate with.

I haven't seen Storm Boy in years. I do remember loving it. Did you cry over Mr Percival? And the Koorong scenery is spectacular. Ok that's my FA!

I am supposed to associate something with burping? I mean, I am a MILF, I am only going to go: Ooh, I remember patting the baby on the back and it being sick all over my shoulder, which me and the other MILFs will go all mushy about but nobody else will find interesting, LOL.

Ahh, I was gutted when Mr Percival died! Boo hoo!

HP, I am pretty sure it's bumpers of Claret which gennnelmen used to drink for a good hearty breakfast, not Burgundy. Hopefully Ogg will come online soon and correct us all. We can all do with a little correction now and then. ;)

I burped cos I was trying to muster all the contempt I had in my bones for HP skipping me. Not that I could care less?
But it was 55 mins after I posted, that he chose to respond to yours.
