Nice! although the ending is a bit

Vénus toute entière à sa proie attachée

Well, dear, that could lead us into a very subtle structural/semiotic domain of discourse...starting with the container and the contained...

I guess I'll just freely associate with Du miel aux cendres...

Well, I have a real embaras de richesses to bring to this party!

Coyotes, sad tropics and savage minds

Do you know the story of Coyote and Teeth in the Wrong Places?

(off to the garage - see you tomorrow, dear.)

Ooh no! a story, tell it to us tomorrow.

Um, association: Fauré's Dolly Suite (part of theme tune to Listen with Mother).

You guys are making me swoon with all of this e.e. cummings bantering about! I've had too many favorite poets quoted at me today. It's making my head spin and distracting me from what I need to do! ;)

Sorry if I've mucked the game up, I don't know how to play!

Um, mucky games ... what could I possibly associate with that?

I know, making mud pies!

(Get back to your writing, naughty girl! I want that story to edit, and I want it now! LOL.)

Hi, Honey :)

Mud pie reminds me a young lady (well, she was a month or two younger than me anyway) who used to frequent a now-defunct Marylebone restaurant for the sole purpose of consuming their Mississippi Mud Pie - a gooey chocolate concoction with a crumbly chocolate crust, served with lashings of rich chocolate sauce and a dollop of chocolate chip ice cream. She liked chocolate. :)

Mmmmmm! Chocolate!

Dark and bitter, and then suddenly sweet.

Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice.

'Lo Sugar :)

OMG! D'arcy McGee is Abe Lincoln!!! And the Confederates were welcome in Montreal, though the Irish sought to conquer the Dominion through the Fenian army! What a tangled web of conspiracy! Wait! My great, great uncle was commissioned by the Fenians to invent a submarine to destroy the British Fleet. (He succeeded, but too late for the Fenians). OMG encore! I'm part of the conspiracy!

Now I know that the Sasquatch really exists and that spacemen traced the Nasca Lines!

 I thought Nasca was about cars and racing.
