It was too bad that the DOJ didn't follow the law in this matter.

What evidence do you have that people's opinion of Obama is changing? His approval rating is stable across just about every poll. The only people who are getting a hard-on over these nontroversies are conservatives who want to believe Obama is the anti-Christ and pretty much already believed that.
