Fox "news" Cannot Be Trusted

Millions of Americans are of the opinion that our police shouldn't be going around killing people without having a damn good reason. We see them year after year killing unarmed black Americans like it's a damn video game! Like it doesn't matter if they kill innocent black men, women and children!

And when black people get fed up with having their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, sons and daughters murdered by the police, the talking heads over at Fox "news" get angry if black athletes kneel during the national anthem to protest police violence.

I'm sorry, but they think that it is "overdoing it" if black people react to mass-murder by peacefully protesting before a football game?

Peacefully protesting against mass-murder is "overdoing it"?

Seriously?

Fox news can't be trusted... but we can trust this post?

All of the mainstream media is twisted. Fox is only slightly better than CNN but they are all monsters. You need to do your own research because no thinking person can trust any of them.

When cops killed an armed, right-wing extremist who had illegally occupied federal land in Oregon and terrorized the locals in Harney County, the propagandists at Fox had a shit fit and tried to turn him into a martyr.

But when innocent, unarmed black people are killed by the cops, it’s no big deal.

So, if you’re white, heavily armed and declare yourself an enemy of the federal government and threaten to kill anybody who tries to arrest you. You’re some sort of hero, but if you’re an unarmed black man or a little unarmed black kid just minding your own business, you apparently DESERVE to be murdered by the police!

How does Fox get away with calling itself a news channel?

Chaos at Fox News as some refuse to believe the network’s own reporting on Trump’s contempt for troops

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/09/ch...mpt-for-troops/?utm_source=push_notifications

It gets worse. Now Fox News is attacking Fox News for daring to report on Trump's contempt for the brave Americans that died serving their country.

Greg Gutfeld and Laura Ingraham are bashing their own colleagues for reporting that Trump called American soldiers "losers" and "suckers" and refusing to honor them.

There are eyewitnesses who heard Trump demean our soldiers. Plus Trump has a long history of treating the U.S. military like crap. He faked having bone spurs to get out of military service during the Vietnam war, he's attacked our gold star families, he's attacked John McCain, he's attacked Lieutenant Colonel Vindman, he's attacked Navy Captain Brett Crozier, he's attacked our NATO alliance, he's attacked our Kurdish allies, he's deported soldiers that served honorably in the U.S. military, he cancelled military operations in the Black Sea, because he was afraid that such operations would offend Vladimir Putin and make it awkward for Russian ships that try to attack Ukrainian ships in the Black Sea and he's abandoned our Kurdish allies in Syria, getting many of them killed.

And yet Gutfeld refers to Fox News's own reporting on Trump's contempt for the military as a "hoax" and a "scam".

This is really fucked up.

CNN busted for pushing bullshit!

Trump’s new COVID-19 adviser cornered on CNN for pushing ‘herd immunity’ that could lead to more deaths

CLICK Bait!!!!

CNN bends Dr's comments and then blames him for "Herd Immunity"!

On CNN Saturday, Michael Smerconish grilled Trump’s new COVID-19 strategist, Dr. Scott Atlas, on whether he believes it’s appropriate to fight the pandemic by letting more people get sick.

“I want to make sure I’m giving you opportunity to respond to several of the things that have been written about you recently,” said Smerconish. “For example, The Washington Post — and you and I talked about this on my radio show this week — they say they’ve got five people at a senior level, on the record, claiming that you have been arguing for herd immunity within the White House. You told me that’s a lie.”

“It’s not just a lie, it’s an overt lie, it’s a disgusting lie, and it’s a harmful statement to make,” said Atlas. “I have never advised the president to push a herd immunity strategy. I have never told the task force that I advocated a herd immunity strategy.”

“But you know, Dr. Atlas, where this comes from,” said Smerconish. “In April, I think it was, you wrote a piece for The Hill. Presumably, that’s how you ended up on the president’s radar screen. The piece, when I last looked, had been shared more than a million times. And in it — you correct me if I’m wrong — but you seem to embrace the concept of herd immunity.”

“I am not advocating a population immunity strategy at all,” said Atlas. “What I am advocating — and let me be very clear about this — is having the social, the distancing social mitigation factors that the CDC has outlined.”

CNN is almost as bad at journalisms as Fux Gnuws. :)

CNN ran video clips showing Atlas calling for the herd immunity approach all by himself, and that he does is the only reason Trump's put him in the limelight. CNN didn't make up that this is his stance.

Did he advocate it or merely describe what it was? He says he just defined it and then called for CDC rules.

He advocated it in the clips I saw. Don't be stupid on this. Why do you think Trump has brought him into the room--at the top?

‘Chris Cillizza is awful’: CNN editor-at-large blasted for ‘the worst hot take of 2020’

Fox and Fiends is not the only stupid on cable!

Controversial CNN editor-at-large Chris Cillizza offered his take on the scandal over President Donald Trump reportedly disparaging U.S. servicemembers.

The scandal was originally reported by The Atlantlic and subsequently was largely confirmed by the Associated Press, The Washington Post and even Fox News.

But in Cillizza’s analysis, he puts the reporting on equal weight with Trump’s denials.

What a dilemma indeed!!!

Who should we believe? The Editor in Chief of a Pulitzer prize winning publication (whose report has been corroborated by WaPo and Fox News) or the biggest and most blatant liar to ever hold office?

Decisions, decisions...

Fox News host jilts Trump live after he announces weekly time slot: ‘Fox has not committed to that’

President Donald Trump was corrected by Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy on Tuesday after he announced that he would have a weekly time slot on the program.

Doocy’s remarks came at the end of a 47-minute telephone interview with Trump.

“We’re going to do it every week,” Trump said. “Every Monday, I think they said. And if we can’t do it on a Monday, we’ll do it on a Tuesday like we did today.”

“Sounds good,” co-host Brian Kilmeade agreed.

But Doocy shot down Trump’s news.

“You may want to do it every week but Fox has not committed to that,” Doocy said. “We’re going to take it on a case-by-case basis and Joe Biden, as well, is always welcome to join us for 47 minutes like we just did with the president.”

Oh Nooooo! Trump not getting free air time anytime he wants it from FOX! WHat have the RWNJ's come to?

Trump goes on unhinged ‘Fox & Friends’ rant – and tells horrified hosts he’s going to call in every week

Over at MSNBC they use video evidence, audio evidence, eye witness testimony and official documents to make their case and establish the facts.

Over at Fox news channel, they use temper tantrums, fear mongering, hate-mongering and childish insults to make their case.

MSNBC hires journalists and fact-checkers, while Fox hires conspiracy theorists and propagandists.

How is there even a question in anybody’s mind about which is more trustworthy?

Laura Ingraham whines that ABS News forum where voters were able to question Trump directly was an "ambush"

President Trump deigned to take hard questions at a town hall on Tuesday night, and the verdict of his propagandists is in: Trump was treated with hideous unfairness even as he managed to convert the spectacle into a triumph through sheer force of his forthrightness and deep benevolence.

After Trump appeared at the ABC News forum, which featured Pennsylvania voters questioning Trump, Fox News’s Laura Ingraham pronounced the affair an “ambush” that could have been staged by the Democratic National Committee. The Fox chyron read:

ABC SPRINGS AMBUSH ON PRES TRUMP AT TOWN HALL

This response, and the town hall itself, capture a larger truth about the moment. When Trump is not permitted to freely dissemble with abandon or coddled by an interviewer who treats his magnificence as a foundational premise — as he so often is on Fox — he is actually very bad at answering difficult questions about his performance.

The notion that this spectacle constituted an “ambush” underscores the point: If this felt like a surprise attack, it’s only because direct and persistent questioning about his towering failures and broken promises really are politically damaging to him.

The questions from voters and moderator George Stephanopoulos were pointed, but they were largely premised on basic facts about Trump’s presidency. Over and over, Trump tried to lie away those facts, but (and this is the rare part) he was then pressed with follow-up questions based on more facts.

For instance, one woman asked Trump why he downplayed the coronavirus. When he repeated his frequent lie that he didn’t downplay it (he did, endlessly), she responded that he had admitted downplaying it himself, which he did in fact admit to Bob Woodward.

When Trump claimed our coronavirus mortality rate shows we have done “very well” compared to other countries, Stephanopoulous produced a chart debunking the claim, and pointed out that we have 4 percent of the world’s population and more than 20 percent of cases and deaths.

Tucker Carlson says climate change is a liberal invention ‘like racism' in shocking on-air rant

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ifornia-wildfires-racism-liberal-b434261.html

Wow.

So, all the melting permafrost, melting ice caps, melting glaciers are just a hoax? The rising ocean levels are just a hoax? The disappearing beaches in Florida are just a hoax? The ocean water leaking into aquifers are just a hoax?

Hmmmmm....That's weird. If all this damage caused by climate change doesn't exist, then why are states like Alaska, Florida and Texas paying BILLIONS of dollars to repair the damage done by climate change and protect their states from future damage?

‘You don’t see any hypocrisy?’ Chris Wallace filets Tom Cotton by replaying his Merrick Garland speech

Fox News host Chris Wallace accused Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) of hypocrisy on Sunday after he vowed to push forward with a vote to replace Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in an election year.

“Why the rush to judgement?” Wallace asked Cotton after the senator promised a swift vote on President Donald Trump’s eventual nominee.

“We’re not going to rush,” Cotton insisted. “We not going to skip steps. We’re going to move forward without delay.”

Wallace reminded Cotton that President Barack Obama named Judge Merrick Garland as his nominee after Justice Antonin Scalia died in 2016.
“Senate Republicans blocked the choice of Garland,” Wallace noted before playing a clip of Cotton defending the move at the time.

In the clip, Cotton notes that the country will have a new president “in a few short months.”
“Why would we cut off the national debate about this next justice?” Cotton says in the clip. “Why would we squelch the voice of the people, why would we deny the voters a chance to weigh in on the make up of the Supreme Court?”

Wallace continued following the clip: “Garland was nominated nine months before the election and you were saying then, nine months before the election, it was wrong to deny voters a chance to weigh in. So if it was wrong then nine months before the election, why is it OK now six weeks before the election?”

The flexible ethics of Trumpublicunts!

Fox News was forced to make damning admission in a Tucker Carlson lawsuit

Fox News got to claim victory on Thursday after a new ruling in a lawsuit brought against the company came out in its favor, but the win arrived at a steep cost. To deflect an allegation of defamation, the network was forced to claim that one of its highest-profile personalities can’t reasonably be expected to consistently provide accurate information to viewers.

To defend Carlson, however, Fox News had to make a damning claim. The host with the highest-rated show on cable news cannot be trusted, his own network said.

In fact, it’s even worse than that. Federal Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil found:

This “general tenor” of the show should then inform a viewer that he is not “stating actual facts” about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in “exaggeration” and “non-literal commentary.” … . Fox persuasively argues … that given Mr. Carlson’s reputation, any reasonable viewer “arrive with an appropriate amount of skepticism” about the statements he makes."

So, He's a bullshit artist who lacks honesty? How many other Fox 'personalities' are also to be taken with "scepticism"? :D

Speaking of Fox, they have Biden winning Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. By substantial margins.

Apparently it can be trusted more than the B list partisan networks, which seem to be multiplying. One of them could bump Fox down, another network may fall first, or this is peak talking heads.

If that's not an indictment on the state of our media ecosystem I don't what is.
